The public and private schools who participate in Global Voices have found the program so valuable that most now contribute funds to support it. But that is not enough. We rely on private philanthropy to sustain our operations – and to help us reach more students, in the U.S. and abroad.
We are primarily volunteer driven with minimal staff resources. Philanthropic support would enable us to add staff who would help us expand into more schools and more countries. It would also allow us to reach more students in low-income neighborhoods by underwriting classroom artists in schools that can’t afford to pay them. Our goal is for any school, regardless of financial need, to participate in our program.
